CAV'S ANNUAL FALL FUNDRAISING!

Thank you for being a vital part of the Community Against Violence (CAV). “Community” is the first word in our name for a reason. CAV services continue to grow in response to the community’s need, and we couldn’t do it without your support.

Our annual Campaign is still going strong and donations are accepted throughout the year in support of CAV's free and confidential programs and services.

Thanks to your donations, CAV’s doors remain open, providing free and confidential services to survivors.  Last year we served:

  • Shelter Services: (1,720 nights provided to 32 adults and 9 children)
  • Transitional Housing: (6,072 nights provided to 13 adults and 13 children)
  • Advocacy (legal, child and family, etc.): (3,747 hours of advocacy for 717 clients)
  • SANE Program: (12 survivors of sexual assault received compassionate medical care)
  • Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC): (339 cases)
  • Batterer’s Intervention Program: (79 participants)
  • Prevention, Education and Outreach: (892 students in 45 classrooms)
  • Counseling: (1,920 hours of individual counseling provided for 108 survivors)

We invite you to join us in our mission “to foster and support a community free from all forms of sexual and domestic violence” and to help us reach our annual fundraising goal of $190,000. CAV is Taos County’s only provider of crisis intervention, shelter, and advocacy services to child and adult survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, child/elder abuse, and stalking.

By making a one-time donation or increasing your monthly pledge, you will help us leverage grants to make sure services remain free and confidential to everyone who needs them. We thank you for your continued support!
